Description:

Unique Skhayamuni Buddha

Buddha Shakyamuni statue, seated in vajra posture on a throne with a calm and peaceful face. Shakyamuni Buddha is also known as Gautam Buddha.

"The one who is aware" is what "Buddha" implies. He was a regular guy whose exceptional lessons inspired people worldwide. Buddha is a title, not a name. It's a Sanskrit phrase that translates to "awake person." The true essence of reality is what a buddha awakens to, which distinguishes Shakyamuni Buddha.
