This is My Belief & Creed : The Aqidah of Ahlu-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah

Indeed, Allh (The Exalted) has sent His Messenger, Muammad, with guidance and the true religion. This purpose is to make this religion the uppermost even if the Polytheists detest it. The Prophet (May Allh exalt his status & grant him peace) has conveyed the Message of Islm most profoundly. The Pious Predecessors, from the Companions, their students (i.e., the second generation of Muslims), and Imms that came after them. They were on the right path due to adhering to His guidance (May Allh exalt his status & grant him peace) and following in his footsteps.

They upheld the correct belief in Allh, His Angels, His Scriptures, His Messengers, the Last Day, Divine Decree, and Ordainmentthe good and disliked. They complied with Allhs commands and abstained from His prohibitions. They became enlightened by the Qurn and Sunnah and thus were on the correct path.

These individuals are the people of the Sunnah and Jamh who are upon the truth. They received aid and assistance. After some time, when the people became distant from the strict adherence (of the Qurn & Sunnah), they changed, altered, and split into various sects and factions. However, Allh (The Exalted) preserved this Ummah and the fundamental principles of the religion.
