Candles are an important part of Catholic tradition, used both in liturgy and in the home. Devotional candles are a popular favorite for many Catholics for personal use. Devotional candles typically feature a religious image or heavenly scene on the front with a special prayer on the back. After the candle is lit the prayer on the back of the candle is recited from a devoted heart. The candle flame becomes a symbol of the prayer of the faithful offered up to God, and the image becomes a visual reminder of heaven. This Catholic candle features St Anthony holding the Christ child. The popular image is a reminder to seek St. Anthony's intercession. As the patron saint of lost things, you can ask for his help when trying to find a lost item! Also features a bilingual prayer to St Anthony. This Catholic candle is great for devotional use, and the perfect addition to your home prayer corner!
