Description:

Safar Islamic Studies Textbook and Workbook 8 are written for ages 13 and above. They are designed to equip learners with the necessary knowledge and tools to develop a deep-rooted love and bond with Islm.

The series teaches students to fulfil their religious rites and duties in an informed manner through learning, understanding and embodying the Qurn and Sunnah.

This workbook accompanies the textbook and has been designed to do more; it contains extended activities, questions to develop thinking and connection, as well as wider reading and learning material, thereby taking a considered and thorough approach to the development of learners.

Features:

Functional design

Printed in full colour, Workbook 8 is designed to be creative, purposeful and clutter-free.

Creative questions designed to strengthen thinking skills

The questions have been designed to do more than simply test the fact retention of students. The workbook has extended activities, advanced questions as well as project and research ideas.

Bringing learning to life

The workbook allows students to relate their learning to real-world scenarios and issues. Additionally, the questions have been designed to develop analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as help develop an excellent understanding of how the learning links to wider issues.

Keywords and literacy skills

Keywords and vocabulary lists in the textbook help with the Arabic and English literacy skills of students. The workbook questions also allow students to use their literacy and numeracy skills, as well as creatively engage with the textbook lessons.

A complete learning journey

Both the textbook and workbook tie in with our Learn by Heart Series and build on the primary syllabus (Textbooks 1-6) and Textbook 7 from the secondary syllabus.
