Memento mori, a Latin phrase meaning "remember your death," provides important perspective for our lives. Remembering one's death is an essential part of the spiritual life according to Scripture, the Church Fathers, and many of the saints. Forgotten for some time, this powerful spiritual practice has been revived in part by Sr. Theresa Aletheia Noble, a religious sister who keeps a ceramic skull on her desk as a memento mori, a reminder of her impending death.

Memento mori has changed her life and can change yours too.

Sr. Theresa Aletheia Noble has compiled this memento mori journal to help others to discover this powerful spiritual practice in their own lives. Remembering death can help you to manage the chaos of this world and work toward a holiness that will help you grow closer to God and benefit you in the next life. In this journal, you will find inspiration and space to value each unrepeatable moment of life. Featuring an introduction and a compilation of prayers, the journal will help you to remember death daily so as to truly live.
