Crafted by artisans in the hills outside of Loreto, Italy, this petite and elegant Miraculous Medal necklace is covered in a lovely aqua blue enamel. The dainty size yet striking color makes this a gorgeous jewelry piece certain to incite compliments. The Miraculous Medal was designed by the Blessed Virgin herself, and given to Sr. (now Saint) Catherine Laboure to spread the devotion, with a tradition of winning extraordinary graces for those who wear it and pray for Marys intercession and help. The front of this particular version features Mary with open arms, on the reverse of the medal is the letter "M" for Mary at the feet of the cross of Christ and intertwined with it, surrounded by a crown of twelve stars, and with the Immaculate Heart and the Sacred Heart side by side.
