A traditional statue of St. Benedict hand painted by Italian artisans, featuring a full color, finely detailed image of the beloved saint, who holds a chalice and his Rule of St. Benedict. The chalice represents his powerful protection against evil, and the time when an attempt to poison him from the Communion cup failed because the chalice exploded as he held it aloft. The book of his Rule established the Rule for many communities of Western monasticism and the discipline of a life of holiness for his Benedictine Order and others. St. Benedict Jubilee Medals, one of the most powerful sacramentals of the Church, are embedded in the base. A distinctive gift of faith and devotion. Choose from multiple sizes.
