About Our Product

This Handmade Buddhist Ritual Bhumba Set is a pair of white metal ritual vases made for Buddhist altar offerings, purification ceremonies, and spiritual practice. Each bhumba measures 16cm in height, 7cm in length, and 9cm in width, with a single weight of 0.21kg and a total weight of 0.43kg. The matching pair gives a graceful altar presence and can be placed beside deity statues, offering bowls, butter lamps, or other sacred ritual items.

This bhumba Set features a crown-like upper section with floral carvings and a central jewel-shaped design. The top vessel sits above a rounded water pot body, while the long curved spout extends from the front for ritual pouring and blessing practice. The body is decorated with raised floral motifs, scroll patterns, and a heart-shaped ornamental panel. In Buddhist practice, the bhumba represents purity, blessing, spiritual cleansing, and the sacred offering of water to enlightened beings. Its form also symbolizes the flow of compassion, wisdom, and positive energy.

This bhumba set can be used during puja, purification rituals, blessing ceremonies, meditation practice, and altar arrangements. Practitioners may use it to hold blessed water, sprinkle offerings, or support daily devotional practice. It serves as a reminder of inner purification, generosity, and the wish to create positive energy through sincere offerings and mindful ritual practice.

Introduction to Bhumba:

Water is essential in both Hindu and Buddhist rites, and it is always present on the altar, either in a pricey pot or in another container. A bhumba is a pot shaped like a flat jar, featuring a pipe to draw out the water, and is elaborately embellished with valuable stones and metal.
