• Call for a Church that prioritizes the vulnerable

This apostolic exhortation invites the Church to rediscover the heart of the Gospel in its love for the poor.

Begun by Pope Francis and completed by Pope Leo XIV, Dilexi Te reflects on Saint Francis of Assisi and his radical embrace of poverty as a path to Christ.

The document urges all believers to set aside attachment to worldly acclaim and possessions so that charity may flourish in both personal witness and ecclesial life.

Signed on the feast of Saint Francis, it carries forward the prophetic vision of a Church that stands with the lowly and serves with humility. By grounding its teaching in the example of Christ and the spirituality of His saints, this exhortation becomes a compelling call to renewed compassion, authentic discipleship, and deeper solidarity with those who suffer.
