About Our Product

This Buddhist Flame Offering Lamp is made with a copper body and a silver plated finish, designed for meditation altar decor, puja practice, and Buddhist shrine offerings. It measures 18cm in height with a 13cm diameter, an 8.5cm base, and a 5.5cm inner depth. With a weight of 0.56kg, this Tibetan offering lamp carries a sacred presence for daily prayer, ritual lighting, and peaceful spiritual practice.

This Offering Lamp has a wide bowl with a smooth silver-plated finish and a simple rim, creating a beautiful space for offering light. It stands on a rounded stem with layered details and a wide base with a hammered texture and gold accents. In Buddhist practice, lighting a butter lamp represents wisdom, clear understanding, and the removal of ignorance. It is a meaningful offering for prayer, meditation, peace, and the path to enlightenment.

This lamp can be used for Buddhist altar offerings, meditation practice, daily puja, blessing rituals, and sacred home decor. Practitioners may offer the lamp with both hands or with an offering mudra, showing respect, generosity, and mindful intention. Placed on a shrine or prayer table, it helps create a calm devotional setting for reflection, chanting, and spiritual focus.

Introduction To The Butter Lamp :

The whole process of offering a butter lamp is also a very spiritual practice. The traditional practice of preparing a butter lamp starts by washing ones hand, wearing a mask to protect from contaminating the butter lamp through ones breath, making the wick out of pure cotton, and cleaning the chalices with a clean piece of cloth reserved for this or fresh mosses from the trees, which was commonly used in old times. The whole process is a meditative spiritual practice, which engages a person both physically and mentally, if the person knows and practices it according to the norms.
