The rosary is a way of contemplation, which simply means to look on the face of Christ. With Mary, we remember the mysteries of Jesus life, and with her we learn Christ. By prayerfully pondering Gods saving works we bring ourselves under their saving influence, we in a certain way make present the works brought about by God in the history of salvation. Praying the Scriptural Rosary brings us into contact with the Word of God; it has power to change our lives. As we pray with Gods Word, God will say to us whatever we need to hear. Listening to that Word in prayer can help us grow in holiness. Praying the rosary gives us the listening space we need in the midst of our busy lives.

This Scriptural Rosary book is not only an attractive gift book, it is also an excellent way for beginners to learn how to meditate on the rosary mysteries. Each rosary mystery is accompanied by stained glass artwork, and each Hail Mary has a Scripture passage to read. In this way beginners learn how to meditate on the events in the life of Christ through word and image while praying the rosary. Great for adults and kids.
