About Our Product

This Himalayan Manjushri Statue for Shrine is a sacred Tibetan Buddhist altar figure made from oxidized brass, measuring 14 cm in height, 10.5 cm in length, and 5.5 cm in width, with a weight of 0.54 kg. Manjushri is revered as the bodhisattva of wisdom, clarity, learning, and awakened insight. Its warm oxidized finish gives the statue a deep devotional presence, making it suitable for Buddhist shrines, meditation spaces, altar rooms, and spiritual home decor.

The statue depicts Manjushri seated gracefully on a lotus base, wearing a jeweled crown, ornaments, and flowing celestial scarves. His right hand raises the flaming sword of wisdom, symbolizing the cutting of ignorance, confusion, and delusion. His left hand holds a lotus stem, traditionally associated with the Prajnaparamita scripture, representing transcendent wisdom and the perfection of understanding. The detailed brass work highlights the crown, facial expression, lotus base, ornaments, sword, and sacred posture with traditional Himalayan beauty.

In Buddhist practice, Manjushri is honored by students, practitioners, and devotees who seek wisdom, clear speech, memory, and deeper understanding of the Dharma. Placing this Manjushri statue on an altar can support meditation, study, prayer, and peaceful reflection. This oxidized brass wisdom deity serves as a meaningful reminder that enlightenment grows through clarity, compassion, devotion, and the courage to cut through inner darkness.

Introduction of Manjushri

Manjushri means "very auspicious" in Sanskrit. As one of the compassion bodhisattvas, Manjushri is particularly well-known among Tibetan Buddhists. He is compared to a brilliant sun. Manjushri is also depicted in the Eleven Figurative Forms of Avalokiteshvara as the Bodhisattva of Great Wisdom, also known as the Buddha Resplendent, with a radiant body like a sun.
