Description:

Zakah and Its Essential Conditions

Zakah is the third most important act of worship after the testimony of faith and prayers. Yet we find many Muslims not giving zakah the importance it deserves or paying it as prescribed. Many Muslim brothers and sisters go without food, clean water, proper schooling, healthcare, and basic necessities of life a travesty that rarely, if ever, occurred during the time of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) or during the era of his preceding caliphate.

Zakah & Its Essential Conditions covers the details of the obligatory charity, including its importance, its effects, the dangers of not giving zakah, and all the conditions that must be met in discharging this obligation. Each prerequisite is thoroughly explained with evidence from the Quran, Hadith, and Islamic jurisprudence, making it a comprehensive guidebook for all.

This book will not only be useful to those Muslims who want to understand the rules and conditions of zakah but will also motivate the ones who have been neglecting this important duty and encourage them to perfect this aspect of their religion.
